A Beautiful Day Rainforest Spa Retreatis the perfect place to nurture your creative soul. We are surrounded by the magical rainforest, hundreds of tropical plants and trees and graced by the Sacred Mountain of Mauna Kea. It is an exceptional place to get practice and to transform your soul.
We are a fully licensed facility to offer classes, workshops and continuing education in massage therapy. Our MAE is 2203. Your will recieve a certificate upon completion of the program. Our specialty is Lomilomi with warm stones, but other modalities are also taught. Our programs are as follows:
25 hour program: $249, two week program 50 hour program: $499, month long program 100 hour program: $995, two month program 200 hour program: $1995, four month program 400 hour program: $3995, eight month program 600 hour program: $5995, ten month- 1 year program
We can accommodate students two days a week for 6 1/2 hours each day. We provide linens and oil, students are expected to bring their own box lunch.
There is an enormous amount of positive energy here and the fresh air is invigorating. It is an exceptional place to practice, and our staff is very courteous.
We are happy to offer agricultural work exchange for our "jungalows" of 4 hours per day for 5 days per week. If you would like to reserve one of these for your visit, on a work-exchange please let us know your dates of arrival and we will make arrangements for you. Otherwise costs for accommodations are described in the "lodgings" link above.
We also have a gourmet chef who can prepare delicious vegetarian meals. Costs generally range about $20 per day per person for breakfast and dinner. Every Sunday we have a community potluck meal and share our stories and adventures from the week. Sometimes we gather around the campfire and share songs and poetry.
