If you are staying in the guestroom, drive around the main house and park in the carport. Just to the left will be the stairs to your room. There will be a note on the door. Please know that your drive here will be an adventure. Some of the roads are bumpy, so be prepared for a bit of a bouncy ride. It is safe to drive here in a regular car, but you will need to take your time.
If you are spending the night, arrival times for check-in are between 3
p.m. and 6 p.m. Hawai'i time. Arriving after dark is difficult because
there are no street lights up here, and it can be difficult to locate
the property.
This is a rainforest environment. Plan to arrive accordingly. Certain times of day (morning and late afternoon) the mosquitoes come out, especially when there is rain, (which is often) and you don't want to be their favorite snack. Be sure you are protected, and avoid eating sweet food before your arrival. We use natural methods to control the mosquitoes so they are not toxic, only annoying. Please note that we do not give refunds if you want to leave because the mosquitoes are bugging you.
We look forward to your visit!
